Our Mission
We care about the environment. Therefore, resource-saving production and the sustainable use of materials are an absolute must for us. We manufacture our eyewear using high-end 3D printing technology in a zero-waste process.
In production, we rely on polyamide, which offers several significant advantages over conventional, conservative materials such as metal or acetate. It is not only light-weight and offers the possibility of a wide range of colour variations, but it also contributes to sustainability: It is biocompatible and comes from renewable sources.
In addition, we support “Pro Wildlife” with a part of our sales. This organisation is committed to the protection of animals and species worldwide.
Our Standards
WALLENFELS EYEWEAR prescription- and sunglasses combine the highest design standards and individual design possibilities with perfect wearing comfort.
With the help of our specially developed augmented reality 3D app, our glasses can be ideally adapted to the respective face shape of the spectacle wearer and individually modified. For us, glasses are more than just visual aids. We see them as pieces of jewellery that aesthetically support the personality of every wearer. That is why our glasses can be individually adapted to every face and guarantee a comfortable fit.
Made in Germany
With our partners based in Germany, we not only avoid long transportation routes and thus unnecessary CO2-emissions, but for WALLENFELS EYEWEAR “Made in Germany” means primarily innovation and quality. For example, the hinges built into the eyewear models are supplied by OBE GmbH from Ispringen (Baden-Württemberg) – an internationally operating family business that is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of eyewear components. For us, it is not about producing cheaper and cheaper, but our goal is to manufacture the best possible product – and to do so sustainably and fairly in Germany.
Our Origins
Engelbert Wallenfels – grandfather of the founder of Wallenfels Eyewear – was not only the godfather of this eyewear label with his name. His love of nature and his sense of beauty and value also influenced our brand philosophy: we create sustainable and innovative designer eyewear – as individual and contemporary as you are.
With the companies youlittle and 3D-Werk-MUC, we have already been able to gain our extensive expertise in the field of 3D printing for over 8 years. As passionate 3D experts, we are now combining our technological know-how and our love for design, value and sustainability, and thus creating the perfect, unique pair of glasses for every customer.
